Welcome to the blog site for our Schoolies Alternative team for 2014.
We are proud to have our 8th team up and ready to go.....this year's team makes it in excess of 300 students and volunteer leaders we have had the opportunity to share this experience with.
Every year we continue to be amazed at the energy of youth and their ability to make a difference in this world.
This year, our team will keep you up to date (technology willing!!!) with their adventures as they step into Cambodia with the backing of Rotary International, their secondary schools, families and communities.
In the lead up, the students from Victoria have been busy fundraising within their communities to support their community service in Cambodia. As always, the communities have rallied with service clubs, business houses and individuals donating money to contribute towards the success of the team. From our Rotary Club - thank you!
History tells us the students (young adults) will not only make a difference in the lives of others, but in their own as well.
